Septmoncel is governed by a council of it´s most important noble houses, who vote a life time prinzregent as a head of state
|
The House of Rodriganda, oldest and richest of the
houses, has just a small army, but has the most
support of the population. L´Anson, III. of this
house is now Prinzregent.
The House of Gallenstein is a powerfull house, with
many soldiers and knights and is holding the monopoly
in armoury in the town. Apart from wealth and
prestige, it brings loads of influence, such a monopoly.
The House of de Rien is a very new house to the council. They are upstarts from a local wealthy but common merchantfamily, the Ryans, and rural gentry called de Nada. So wealth and nobility rose quickly into one of the most glamorous houses of Septmoncel
|
The House of Gilda was always very ambitious to get
the reign, but never succeded yet. They have a large
army, a large treasure and a large selfconfidence.
With the promise of profit and glory they lure many
young knights in their duty, so they are always in the
field.
The House of Malefitz has always been a bit
suspicious to the other houses, because the leaders
were often caught in political intrigues and plots
against the gouvernment.
The House of Tourette is a very down to earth house,
which does not long for power too much, but wants to
keep Septmoncel stable and safe. So they always support
the Regent and give him command over their extremely
large army.
The House of Greifenklau is, with the house of
Rodriganda, the only constant member of the council,
since they founded it a thousand years ago. It is the
smallest and poorest of the houses of Septmoncel, but
has and often tipped the scales in the election. But
now it´s dying out and the vultures already soar over
their castle!
The House of Loupin, newly entered the council by
mere force, since they´ve threatened to pillage the town.
That shows their power, but they are not really clever
and have lost much of their fierce reputation, due to
their dumbness. But still they are very dangerous!
